Dale Earnhardt Foundation Awards $2 Million Gift to Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation has awarded a $2 million gift to the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council in support of the development of the Council’s 700-acre Oak Springs property, which serves as a retreat for Girl Scouts and their leaders from throughout an eight-county Carolinas region.

Intimidator Camaro Raffle Winner
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation officially presented the “Intimidator Camaro” to Tony Lanala, of Baraga, Michigan, on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Dale Earnhardt Inc. President and CEO Teresa Earnhardt presented the winner of the Foundation’s year-long fundraiser with the keys to the $86,000 vehicle at Dale Earnhardt Inc. Corporate Offices in Mooresville, NC.
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament
On March 2, 2011, The Statosphere Hotel & Casino hosted the “Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament” in the Theater of the Stars Showroom. The Stratosphere Tower, the most recognizable icon on the Las Vegas Strip, also dimmed their lights for the second year to honor Earnhardt, as a tribute on the 10th Anniversary of his passing, and played a video tribute to him on the hotel’s marquee.
Barnes & Noble Bookfair
Kerry and Taylor Earnhardt paid a visit to the Barnes and Noble in Birkdale Village in Huntersville, NC, for the second annual Bookfair supporting the Dale Earnhardt Foundation.
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation Book Center
As part of Teresa Earnhardt’s volunteer involvement with the Center of Hope’s “A Fresh Coat of Paint” initiative, The Dale Earnhardt Foundation Book Center project has been created to provide much-needed reading material to the thousands of women and children that temporarily call the shelter home.
Lake Norman Clean Cast Event
Thirty-five kids from the Claremont Boys and Girls Club lined the bank of Lake Norman waiting for their bobber to disappear under the water. Volunteers were close-by to help bait hooks, help cast wiggling worms to the best spot, untangle lines and hopefully to help land big whoppers. All fish, bushes and trees were released unharmed.
Intimidators, DEI Announce Partnership, Unveil Car
KANNAPOLIS, NC – On April 29th, the birthday of Dale Earnhardt Sr. the Kannapolis Intimidators, the Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, with his son Kerry Earnhardt in attendance, unveiled a special number three Dale Earnhardt Sr. tribute race car which will remain on display at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium on a permanent basis for all fans to enjoy.
